Russ joined the finance industry with Mutual Life & Citizens (MLC) in August 1964. He became an underwriter at 19 and deputy Claims Manager at 21.

Looking for wider horizons he left for his big OE at 25 and has just returned 32 years later!

In the intervening years he became an underwriter then a manager of a New Business department.  He then spent 21 years as a successful sales consultant with Prudential.

Russ then began a career as an independent Financial Adviser – dealing in all matters of financial planning with an emphasis on retirement (pension) planning.  Russ’s last few years in the UK concentrated on providing advice to people migrating to New Zealand.

Russ holds the Advanced Financial Planning Certificate (AFPC) , is a member of the Personal Finance Society and holds the DipPFS by examination.

Russ is registered with the UK regulatory authority (Financial Services Authority, FSA) – as a pensions transfer specialist.
